Privacy Policy

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, and session data. When you use the catalog, we store record metadata such as artist, album title, year, genre, label, barcode, Discogs identifiers, tracklists, notes, status, and dates added or updated.

If you upload or capture an album image, we may process and store that image so the app can identify the record and display it in your catalog. When available, VinylVault may use external cover image URLs from Discogs instead of storing additional copies.

We use your information to authenticate your account, provide and improve the catalog experience, identify records from uploaded images, save your collection, show album details, and display marketplace or preview information when available.

If you purchase a Premium subscription, payment and billing information is processed by Stripe. VinylVault stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we can manage your plan, but we do not store full card numbers.

VinylVault may connect with third-party services including Google for sign-in and AI-assisted image analysis, Discogs for record metadata and marketplace information, Apple Music for audio previews, and Stripe for subscription payments. These services process information according to their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the app, authenticate users, process images, retrieve metadata, host the service, or comply with legal obligations.

We keep account and catalog information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete catalog items inside the app. If you need account-level deletion or data assistance, contact Formma at soporte@formma.com.mx.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and keep your account access private.

You can sign in with email/password or supported OAuth providers, update app settings, and manage your catalog. You can also choose not to upload images, though scanning features may be limited.
